Emmy & Peabody-winning producer,
telling your story
I build communication strategies that turbocharge your mission. From non-profits and labor unions to attorneys and law firms, I clear out the thicket between you and your audience, and teach you how to craft effective, clear messaging.
Because everyone needs a good story.
You have a mission, and I have the messaging strategy to support it. Let's elevate your brand's position with smart multi-channel content creation and media relations; build awareness; and target every stakeholder in an intentional
and engaging way.
A disruption or threat to the very core of your brand and purpose can be catastrophic - if not met with agility and a cool head. I can help lead through the storm, clearly defining priorities and
a communications agenda to maintain operations, protect reputation, and preserve trust.
As an attorney, right now, you're facing a significant challenge: Both technology and your audience - jurors, media, stakeholders - are evolving at breakneck speed. Science tells us that messages resonate and stick differently than
ever before. Adapt or get left behind.
So, let's meet that challenge.
You'll have on your team an award-win
As an attorney, right now, you're facing a significant challenge: Both technology and your audience - jurors, media, stakeholders - are evolving at breakneck speed. Science tells us that messages resonate and stick differently than
ever before. Adapt or get left behind.
So, let's meet that challenge.
You'll have on your team an award-winning producer and strategist with an intimate understanding of the legal environment, who will help you control the narrative, increase visibility, and maximize jury focus and trust during courtroom litigation.
In an industry where news breaks fast and personalities run strong, I've gotten a 25-year crash course in communication strategy, message focus, and crisis management.
My desire to make an impact started in my teens - marching against nukes and racism in my native Sweden, and traveling across continents on my own... always writing, collecting the stories around me. Eventually, journalism became the obvious path to combine storytelling with my aim to change the world for the better. And I'd like to think I have, just a little - making news stories and documentaries with organizations like VICE News, ABC, CNN, and Investigation Discovery; amplifying marginalized voices, and connecting my audience with the world around them.
The longest, and most impactful, stop of my career was Court TV.
I had a front row seat to nearly 200 courtroom dramas coast-to-coast; watched masterful advocates connect with the jury box and the public, and saw strategic missteps doom slam dunks; learned about human nature and the tools of persuasion. From Columbine to Casey Anthony, I've covered big stories and found ways to make them relevant to my audience - as producer, writer, on-air reporter and commentator.
Every job since has built on that: The understanding of how our minds work, and how to craft narratives accordingly.
I’m now leveraging my skillset to tell stories of a different kind:
Helping professionals and organizations hone their voice with effective, message-driven narratives both internally and externally.
The truth is that I've always been an advocate at heart.
